What is Valerie's House:

Valerie's House stands as a beacon of healing and solace for families navigating the difficult path of grief. Established in Fort Myers (2016), this organization has evolved into a vital support system, aiding over 3,300 children and parents in the past seven years. Named in memory of Valerie Melvin, a wife and mother whose life was tragically cut short in 1987, Valerie's House provides a safe and comforting space for families to heal together after the loss of a loved one.

The Pensacola Chapter emerged in April 2021, initially supporting 10 children and 15 caregivers. Today, it has blossomed into a pillar of strength for our community, offering support to approximately 215 children and 105 caregivers.
